SME Empowerment Program

by Draslaric Holding Group Corporation

Currently active in the United States and Indonesia, with expansion into additional markets underway.

What is the SME Empowerment Program?

The SME Empowerment Program is a global CSR initiative by Draslaric Holding Group Corporation (DHGC). It supports small and medium businesses through strategic investment, operational guidance, and access to international markets. The program is delivered at no cost to selected participants. DHGC absorbs the full cost of advisory, investment readiness, and operational support so that businesses can focus entirely on growth. Our goal is straightforward: help good businesses grow further than they could on their own, and in doing so, contribute meaningfully to the communities and economies we operate in.

A CSR-Driven InitiativeThis program is part of DHGC's broader commitment to responsible business practice. Corporate growth and community impact are not separate goals for us. This program is where they meet.

Capital AccessFlexible investment structures designed to support growth while allowing founders to retain control.

Operational SupportPractical guidance across finance, HR, legal, compliance, and technology.

Global ExpansionStructured pathways for cross-border expansion and international market entry.

Our 7 Approaches

A structured framework to support SMEs across different markets, balancing capital, operations, and sustainable growth.Every participating business receives a tailored combination of these seven approaches based on where they are and where they are headed.

Collaborative Manufacturing PartnershipFrom joint research and development, to low-volume production testing, to co-owned trademarks and full-scale manufacturing. We work alongside businesses to build real production capability.

Capital Investment with PurposeFlexible equity or debt structures focused on long-term growth. Founders retain control. Investment decisions are guided by fit and sustainability, not short-term return.

Operational Advisory & Back-End SupportPractical guidance across finance, HR, legal, compliance, and digital transformation including point-of-sale, CRM, and ERP systems.

Market Positioning & Brand DevelopmentStrategic support for brand identity, marketing, and e-commerce growth. Co-branding opportunities are available where relevant.

Preferential Access to Group SolutionsNegotiated vendor rates and integration into DHGC's broader retail ecosystem network, giving participating businesses access to resources they would not otherwise have.

Global Market Access SupportStructured pathways to regional and international expansion, covering compliance, logistics, and market readiness. DHGC and its institutional partners actively support participating businesses in preparing for and entering export markets.

Leadership & Talent DevelopmentMentorship, executive coaching, and apprenticeship structures to build the leadership capacity needed for long-term growth.

Our Initiatives

The SME Empowerment Program is active across multiple markets. Each initiative applies the same seven approaches, adapted to the local context.

🇺🇸 SMB Empowerment ProgramLaunched in early 2024, the US initiative has partnered with over 100 small and medium businesses across retail, apparel, and footwear. Participants include both established regional businesses and family-owned companies seeking to modernise and expand. All seven approaches are applied, tailored to each business. Many participants have advanced through Market Positioning and Brand Development and Leadership and Talent Development. Others have benefited from Collaborative Manufacturing Partnerships and early-stage operational advisory.Key outcomes to date:
- Over 20 participating businesses have expanded their sales internationally
- Over 60 have achieved measurable domestic growth
- Outcomes include stronger brand positioning, improved leadership practices, and expanded distribution channels
- A co-patent is currently pending with one participating business, covering a sustainable material composition designed to reduce US manufacturing costs
This initiative is run directly by DHGC, ensuring close oversight and alignment with the program's global standards.

🇮🇩 Mitra Maju UMKMThe Indonesian initiative, known locally as Mitra Maju UMKM, is delivered in collaboration with Indonesia's Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) and Bank Indonesia. It focuses on traditional crafts, sustainable fashion, and modernised traditional wear, combining DHGC's global framework with a strong commitment to local craftsmanship and Indonesian supply chains. The program operates through a non-exclusive aggregator model, enabling DHGC to engage with multiple partners over time and broaden participation across different regions of Indonesia. Bank Indonesia branches across multiple cities have partnered with DHGC to extend mentorship and global market access support to their UMKM communities, helping local businesses prepare for cross-border growth and international export.Key principles of this initiative:
- 100% local sourcing wherever possible across the full supply chain
- Where local alternatives are unavailable, DHGC funds R&D partnerships with participating businesses to develop innovative solutions that reduce import dependency
- A strong emphasis on equipping business owners to expand internationally while reinforcing their domestic position
Indonesia was selected as the first market for this initiative following years of direct market engagement and observation. It serves as the foundation model for how DHGC approaches this program in emerging markets.
